High Temperature Soundproof Blankets, SCC-9HT
Steel Guard Safety's Model SCC-9HT High Temperature Soundproofing Blanket is used to add sound absorption to exterior applications to reduce reverberation and echo in High Temperature Applications up to 450 F. The SCC-9HT Exterior Absorber Blankets are quilted fiberglass absorbers (QFA) Quilted on front and back with a UV and tear resistant exterior grade vinyl with a High Temp Silicone Coating for High Heat and Water and Chemical Resistance. The Soundproofing Curtains interior contains a quilted polyester fiberglass batting sewn with heavy duty Nylon Thread.
The SCC-9HT can be installed on any solid surface, or can hang from track, pipe or walls.The quilted fiberglass sound curtain reduces the reflection of sound waves by adding an open celled absorptive barrier. These Sound Panels are often used to reduce sound from High Heat Machinery Housings, HVAC equipment, and other Industrial Equipment.
